In 1941, the original house was destroyed when a German aircraft crashed directly on top of it. It was later rebuilt into the shape we see today. My grandparents lived here with other relatives, but after my grandfather passed away, the house was left abandoned.
This place has inspired me since I was a little girl. Over time, it became a space of personal research — a way to explore my own roots through artistic projects. I've investigated the day the aircraft crashed, uncovered traces of love letters exchanged between my grandparents, and drawn on my memories of the Saint Joseph tradition to reinterpret it with contemporary meaning.
I've always dreamed of bringing this space back to life - not only as my studio, but as a guest house and a place for the community to gather and share stories.
